Nordic Stove and Fireplace Center, Inc. offers many wood, gas, and electric products. They come in the form of free-standing stoves, zero-clearance / pre-fab fireplaces, inserts for existing masonry fireplaces, and gas or electric logs for your masonry or zero-clearance fireplace.

We do not sell Pellet Stoves. These types of units require electricity to feed the pellets into a burn chamber, a fan to burn the pellets, and a circulating blower to move the heated air out into the living space. This means that during a power outage a pellet stove is unable to function without electricity. Finding a local reliable source of pellets (stocks the fuel through the season) is also important and can be a challenge sometimes.

We choose not to sell Vent-less or Vent-Free Gas Product. It is our opinion that with a vent-less product the room is used as a chimney. Carbon Monoxide (CO) and water are by-products of gas combustion. In the homes in our area that are well insulated, these by-products can be detrimental. Condensation of water and carbon build up on walls, furniture and ceilings are possible with a vent-less product. People with allergies or respiratory problems, pregnant women and elderly people are warned about exposure to these products in the product manuals.
